The CRE Foundation, a board independent of Central Rural Electric Cooperative, administers a program called “Operation Round Up.”  The CRE Foundation makes grants available to individual projects within the CREC service area.  The board approved $3,000 for the purchase of new playground equipment at the elementary school.

Since the Operation Round Up program began in 2005, more than $150,000 in grants has been awarded.  For more information about the CRE Foundation, visit http://www.crefoundation.org
