Arrival and Departure Times:
Supervision is not available for students who arrive prior to 7:50 a.m. and we
want your child to remain safe. Therefore, we ask that children not be dropped off before
this time. Students may enter the cafeteria for breakfast or go to the Multi-Purpose
building at 7:50 a.m.
Classroom Visitation:
We encourage parents to visit our classrooms and would like to make you feel
welcome. To protect your child, however, all visitors must sign in at the office and
pick up a visitor's badge; there are no exceptions to this requirement.
Class instruction time cannot be spent conferencing. If you need to speak to your
child's teacher, please call the office or notify the teacher in writing if you wish to make an
appointment.
If you need to give your child a message, lunch, lunch money, etc, please come to the
office. Interrupting class disrupts valuable instructional time.
Student Check-Out Procedures:
If a student leaves prior to dismissal, a parent or guardian must check their child out of
the classroom through the office. Only those persons with photo identification authorized
to check out students will be allowed to remove students from school property. Students
will be paged to the office to meet you; they may not be removed directly from the
classroom.
Attendance Requirements:
In the state of Oklahoma, there is a mandatory attendance law. Therefore, your child
must attend school. If your child has 10 absences in one semester, by law they will not
pass that semester. Tardy is arriving after 8:15 a.m.; four tardies count as an absence.
